i had 2 previous small stoves ,,,,,with all kinds of issues and more expensive than this one,,,,,,,i thought i was just settling.....................turns out this been a excellent little stove,,,,,,get really hot and is doing well......bakes fine which other did not.............im so happy

I love the size and overall how it functions. It is simple, no digital which I like. Regular old knobs. I have had trouble with the temperature in the oven. I have had a great service guy out who raised it up some. But it didn't really change things significantly. I have resolved to always have a thermometer in the oven and it is a great second temp tool

I bought this strictly for baking; I have a gas cooktop for other food prep. We've had it for a month or so and baked half a dozen times. It meets the set point relatively quickly and holds temperature during baking. (Though I use an oven thermometer too.) Oven temp indicator goes out when it reaches 350, but not when I had it set to 425. Racks are decent quality though I haven't tried to roast using a very large pan yet. Vents are unobtrusive. Large oven window is a plus. Did a bunch of research to find a range with few electronics to break down -- am happy with my purchase thus far.

My beautiful 24inch stove just arrived. It is small but very heavy and durable. The oven handle and knobs are thick and durable feeling. The glass door is awesome you can see your food baking. This was a great choice for my small kitchen

Waste of money, badly manufactured, cheapest materials possible. Keeps frying the switches behind the knobs. Particularly the oven/broiler switch melts every few months or so. As in electrical fire risk melts. Had it for 4 years now, currently waiting for the 4th oven switch to arrive to fix it again. Absolutely worthless purchase.

I read reviews carefully before ordering. Many reviews said it was great and a few (relatively few) said there was a problem with the oven. When my new machine arrived, I immediately noticed the oven knob does not allow for a temp higher than 450. When I tested the oven, setting it at 450, it sometimes got up to 400 but then immediately dropped to 360. I called GE; a tech came to repair. Several attempts to repair and 3 new machines later... All 3 of the machines behaved the same way: The oven will not get above 370 and when I put it on low broil, the bottom coil heats up (as if it was in bake mode) but after a few minutes begins to smoke. High broil seems to work just fine. One of the techs explained that these small ovens have difficulty maintaining heat because there is less insulation than a larger oven. Be that as it may, the problem seems to me to lie with the connection between the oven/broiler knob/thermostat and the heating elements. I recognize this is a first world problem so I live with it. For roasting the oven works just fine, once I adjust my cooking times. Baking requires more supervision as the oven temp bounces up and down so I am constantly checking and adjusting the temp. The cooktop works just fine. The storage drawer does seem flimsy (as others have reported) but I store rarely used pans there and open it carefully when I need to use them. One final note: it is advertised as being able to steam clean. That doesn't work because the oven does not get hot enough to create the steam needed for cleaning.

We love the new stove. It is amazing, BUT it did not include the installation of the stove. It was simply delivered. IF we had known installation was not included, we would have had someone lined up to help. As it turned out, my husband (even though he is 80 yrs old) has "fix it" abilities, and was finally able to hook it all up after several hours. In the future, I am hoping the store explains to customers installation is NOt part of the delivery.

It™™s easy to use. The flat top burners cook evenly. Easy to clean. Takes a while come to a full boil on hi. Burners discolored in small areas first couple of uses but not too noticeable. Was hoping it came with a new pan like most new ranges do. Love it for the most part!

It's a nice basic stove that fit our park model at 24 inches wide. There is no timer. My main complaint is the price. If I could have fit a full size stove in our model it would have been cheaper or had more bells and whistles for the price of this one.

A GE representative answered a Q/A on Home Depot saying the max oven temperature was 550 degrees. The picture of the knob in the user manual shows 550 degrees. However, the oven temperature knob on the oven I received only goes to 400 degrees. As I am a sourdough bread maker, I require an oven temperature of 500 degrees. Actually, my oven thermometer didn™™t register even 350 until the knob was at 400.

The stove heating elements work extremely well, including the oven temperature. My only concern is the oven cycle light on the front panel next to the oven control knob is always on. I cannot find anything in the instruction manual to help me with this. Not the oven inside light but the oven cycle light on outside panel.

So far all ok. Seemed like there could have been some screws missing in the back. The over dial does not turn as smooth as the burner dials so hopefully there is no issue there. I put a thermometer in the oven and I had to adjust the oven temp on the oven dial to the maximum to get the correct temperature. Since it™™s at the maximum it™™s actually covering the ™Broil™ word on the dial. I think there should be better temperature calibration form the factory.

I purchased a GE for 2 reasons. First, The GE brand had a good reputation for reliability and has been around a very long time.
Second, I bought the 24 inch wide stove for a small kitchen renovation.
The stove was $1000 compared with the comparable full size GE model at $500. This should have been a red flag. When the stove arrived it turned out to be the cheapest model stove I've ever seen. It has with absolutely no features other than on or off. The drawer is such cheap metal it was twisted so when oven the door opened it bent the bottom of the door immediately. The bottom of the oven is crooked. The worst part of this oven is a safety hazard. There is no indicator light to tell when the oven is on or off. No light, no beeper. Nothing. It's very easy to not realize the oven has been left on. The temperature is not correct at all. All these things can be overlooked except the missing on/off oven indicator. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I've had it for 6 months. I'm replacing it with another brand as soon as I can.

This range is beautiful aesthetically. I had to adjust the knobs because the oven temp was off. The burners heat up quickly. I love the storage drawer, but it is flimsy. It could use a clock/timer and the oven should have increments every 25 degrees instead of 50.
